This is an important update from roadsidebomb regarding pre-orders for our new Polybar System solderless kits and controllers. Please read this write up to the end, it contains important information regarding order processing given the current tariff situation.

Unfortunately, recently enacted tariffs are significantly impacting our ability to operate. We are currently facing major trade disruption, as our shipping partners and suppliers have either had to heavily increase costs and/or outright suspend shipments to the United States due to the current tariff situation.

Our team has poured countless hours into developing this project, and we were hopeful that our specific trade needs would be exempt from the announced tariffs. We anticipated some rise in cost, and decided to move forward with launch plans. Unfortunately, we were hit with a much larger burden than anticipated.

As a result, we are unable to process any orders until the trade and tariff situation is resolved. We remain fully committed to our goal of providing you with the highest quality, most affordable hobby controllers and kits available. The unfortunate timing of these events is truly disheartening for us and is a severe let down at the crescendo of our workload.

Please be assured that we intend to order and ship your controllers and kits as soon as it becomes physically possible. This situation could end at a moment's notice, or could last longer than anticipated. Like you, we have no specific insider information regarding the tariffs and are monitoring the situation closely. Some of our essential supplies are currently unavailable, while the prices of others have risen to a point where fulfilling orders would put us in a financially unsustainable position. Our group-buy system is designed to reduce costs and provide high-quality assembled parts, but these external factors are creating significant challenges, tying our hands completely.

As a valued customer, you have two options:

Option A: Maintain your preorder. Your order will be fulfilled as soon as the trade issues are resolved. As a token of our sincere gratitude for your patience and understanding during this unexpected delay, we will provide you with a transferable 10% discount code for a future order. You can use this code yourself or share it with a friend. We know it's a small gesture, but we want to show our appreciation as you support our new small business.

Option B: Request an immediate refund for your pre-order. Send us an email at info@threepieces.net with your order number, and we will process your refund as soon as possible.

Please know that we have not used any of the pre-order funds. We maintain our open book, transparent model to make sure you receive the best value for your money that we can provide. Our sole intention is to use these contributions to bring you expertly engineered, low-priced hobby kits and controllers made with care. Your trust in our ability to follow through is deeply appreciated and fuels our efforts of bringing you even more types of controllers in the future.

We sincerely apologize for this unforeseen delay. We, and many other members of this industry, have been forced into this situation, and we assure you that if there were a way to expedite this process, we would pursue it immediately. For now, it appears we must wait for a resolution.
